Abstract

Conoce a Cervantes a través del CSIC es el nombre de la exposición organizada para celebrar el IV centenario de la muerte de Miguel de Cervantes por el Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid. Con el apoyo de científicos de diferentes disciplinas se expone en un total de XVIII carteles la vida y la obra del autor del “Quijote” así como la presencia de la ciencia, la música y la cultura de su época en sus creaciones literarias. La exposición también muestra la importancia que el CSIC ha concedido al “Príncipe de los ingenios” creando una colección cervantina de ediciones destacadas, poniendo su nombre a un instituto de investigación y editando la revista “Anales Cervantinos”.
