Abstract

De un tiempo a esta parte se observa una cierta propensión a reducir la compleja problemática del multiculturalismo a sus aspectos más caricaturescos. De manera bastante inmoderada se hace hincapié en el carácter absurdo de algunas reivindicaciones, en lo fantástico de ciertos conflictos o en lo grotesco de determinados procesos. Una expresión destacada y hasta cierto punto cualificada de este estado de opinión sería, sin duda, el ensayo de Giovanni Sartori objeto de la presente recensión.

El presente trabajo se ha realizado gracias al apoyo de la Fundación Alexander von Humbolt que financia el desarrollo del proyecto de investigación «Pluralismo cultural, derecho y democracia», que el autor lleva a cabo en el Philosophisches Seminardela Universidadde Tubinga(Alemania).
