Abstract

Nota de prensa anunciando una nueva edición de los senderos geoarqueológicos que organiza el Museo de Ciencias Naturales. El agua, los romanos y el románico de la Tierra de Campos (Palencia) fué el título de la excursión, que tuvo lugar del 14 al 16 de Mayo, que incluyó entradas, guía impresa, visitas guiadas, pensión completa y dos noches de alojamiento en el Monasterio de San Zoilo. Madrid, XX de marzo de 2010. El Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales (CSIC) y la Sociedad de Amigos del Museo (SAM) organizaron los días 14, 15 y 16 de mayo una nueva edición de los Senderos Geoarqueológicos, que en dicha ocasión llevaron a conocer la zona de Tierra de Campos (Palencia). De la mano del geólogo Carlos Martín Escorza, los visitantes disfrutaron de una excursión geológica y arqueológica de tres días en la que descubrieron los secretos naturales y arquitectónicos que encierra esta bella zona española. Comenzaron por Carrión de los Condes, El sábado 15, los participantes pudieron contemplar de cerca una de las obras de ingeniería civil más importantes de la España Ilustrada: el Canal de Castilla y sus enclaves, entre otros el complejo hidráulico de Calahorra de Ribas. Posteriormente la excursión se dirigió a Becerril de Campos y el Domingo se visitó la villa romana de La Olmeda.
