Joan Pau Pujol, a l’origen del barroc musical català

Abstract

Entrevista a Mariano Lambea, Joan Grimalt y Josep Maria Gregori sobre la trayectoria musical del compositor y maestro de capilla catalán Joan Pau Pujol (1570-1626). En la entrevista se comentan algunos aspectos de la producción musical de este maestro, así como su influencia sobre el origen del barroco musical y la necesidad de retomar la publicación de sus Opera Omnia iniciada en el siglo XX por el musicólogo Higinio Anglés. Se comenta también el ciclo de conciertos que el conjunto vocal-instrumental “Exaudi nos” dirigido por Joan Grimalt ha realizado por diversas poblaciones catalanas dentro de la VIII temporada (2008-2009) de “Músiques de l’esperit”, dedicado íntegramente a Joan Pau Pujol. Se adjunta programa de mano del ciclo de conciertos.
