Aquest any 2008, declarat per les Nacions Unides Any In-ternacional del Planeta Terra, està resultant, malauradament, especialment procliu en catàstrofes relacionades amb fenò-mens geològics i meteorològics arreu del món. En són mos-tra el cicló Nargis, que ha assolat les costes de Birmània, el terratrèmol a la Xina, o l’erupció del volcà Chaitén a Xile, entre d’altres. A Catalunya, tot i que no patim episodis tan greus, també s’han produït els darrers anys fenòmens d’aquesta naturalesa, com documenta l’estudi que teniu a les mans. […]
