We report the latest efforts of the Writing in the Context of Knowledge (WiCK) project in investigating the use of Semantic Web technologies in a business-type environment, where authors create and re-use knowledge in a collaborative manner. The project aims to provide a knowledge-aware office environment that supports the creation, sharing, and reuse of knowledge. The proposed system will enable authors to create and manage knowledge artifacts, and provide a framework for knowledge sharing and reuse. The system will also provide tools for knowledge discovery and retrieval, and enable authors to track the evolution of knowledge over time. The project will demonstrate the feasibility of using Semantic Web technologies to support knowledge creation and sharing in a business-type environment.
