This study aims to investigate the effects of a polysaccharide from Zingiber striolatum on gut microbiota in mice fed a high-fat diet. The polysaccharide was isolated and purified from Zingiber striolatum, and its effects on gut microbiota were evaluated using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. The results showed that the polysaccharide significantly modulated the gut microbiota, increasing the abundance of beneficial bacteria and decreasing the abundance of pathogenic bacteria. The study provides new insights into the potential therapeutic effects of Zingiber striolatum polysaccharide on gut health and metabolic disorders.
