The overall project goal of ACeSYRI (Advanced Centre for PhD students and young researchers in informatics) is to improve research conditions of young researchers and PhD students in informatics (computer science) from Kazakhstan universities based on development of international cooperation with EU universities. Therefore we plan to develop a virtual portal and center in Kazakhstan in order to promote the collaboration between the target groups: PhD students, young researchers, academic teachers. In general, ACeSYRI allows participants to form research groups, collaborate with international research partners and to share information and project results. Using ACeSYRI to collaborate is free of charge and is available to students and young researchers from PC universities and enterprises. The project is scheduled for 3 years and is conducted by 4 EU and 9 Kazakh institutes, including 7 universities (private and public) . The implementation of ACeSYRI provides a valuable contribution towards the modernization of higher education in Kazakhstan. Both, promoting the research conditions of young researchers and involving them into actual research problems are expected to raise the level of higher education PC.ACeSYRI has a long-lasting impact on the higher education of PC. First pilot collaborations between PhD students/young researchers and professors from Kazakhstan and teaching staff from EU universities are conducted during the project and are expected to spill over to other young researchers .
"The Project ""Master Program in Eco-Mining Engineering and Innovative Natural Resourses Management (EMINReM)"" Wider Objective is to raise efficiency and ecological sustainability of mining works realization through the Partner-HEIs collaboration for training of new-generation-experts within environmental, economic and management attainments in the field of natural resources extraction and processing. It is aimed at development of the future experts` interdisciplinary openness, capability of understanding technological issues in a systematic and in-depth way, using the tools of modeling and evaluation of potential environmental risks, mitigating them in our fast developing world. MP in EMINReM will be created in response to the current challenges of sustainable development and market needs. The Project supports transfer of the most recent knowledge and good practices developed at the Programme countries (EUMS/APC) - DE, ES & TR, in the field of Sustainable Eco-Mining Engineering, to other countries not associated to the Erasmus+ Programme (NAPC) - UA, KZ and UZ, considering all challenges that are required by modern EU and national technological, economic and environmental standards and trends (e.g. European Green Deal, Industry 4.0, etc.).It is foreseen to develop the EU-based MP focused on the integration of the best EU practices and approaches in the field of EMINReM and introduce them in the NAPC HEIs; to develop Teaching Materials for EMINReM MP; to establish EMINReM LABs for students at 7 NAPC HEI; to launch Joint Virtual e-Learning Platform; to provide EMINReM students pilot and Experts' advanced trainings. Targets Groups: Potential HEI Entrants, Students, Teachers & Staff, Industry & NGO Representatives, State Authorities, Employers, Alumni."
The project consist of 17 universities: 5 from Program Countries: FR, DE, LV, EST, BE; 4 from KZ, 4 from RU and 3 from BY; two stakeholders of related field: 2-from KZ, 1- from RU and 1-from BY and P1 spin-off company- P6 from DE. The overall objectives of the proposal are: to support the modernisation of the higher education (HE) in space exploration and intilligent robotic system in the targeted Universities in BY, KZ, RU through innovation of two cycles curricula in line with the new development in the area, the labour market demand and according to the Bologna Process and best practice. In relation to the output/outcomes: review/analysis of the current programmes/curricula (BA, MA) in space technologies and robotic; to upgrade current programmes/curricula inclusive ECTS; to develop a set of 14 new core curricula and 7 transferable modules; adopt/accredit on institutional/national level; to develop, publish, purchase the new tutorials, handbooks, syllabi; to develop WEB based platform; to prepare a set of documentation for ROBOLAB purchase/install the equipment; to retrain academic/non-academic teachers in new curricula and methodology; Master Classes in new curricula held in ROBOLAB; pilot teaching students in new curricula using ROBOLAB establishment; developing a set of documentation/purchasing/installing equipment; staff training/pilot operation/networking of TETRO; to address the envisaged impact: promotion of closer exchange between HEI community and labour market to meet the needs of labour market to improve training in space technologies and robotic to foster employability of educated youth and to enable networking between various stakeholders on this issue. Academic content: 21 curricula and module inclusive ECTS using updated teaching techniques and modern learning environment.
