    SHARE intends to provide an inclusive roadmap for Research, in technical and non-technical fields, enabling stakeholders to jointly improve safety, reduce costs and minimize environmental impact in the decommissioning of nuclear facilities. Through a consultation process among the worldwide community involved in the decommissioning value chain, the project is committed to: • Building confidence in the steps needed for the generation of knowledge on decommissioning and its safety, economic and environmental aspects • Assist policy makers in future decisions about which research areas are most appropriate for financial support over the coming decades. • Create synergies, cooperation and coordination between the decommissioning stakeholder community and with other international platforms and organisations in Europe and beyond, • Engage universities and research laboratories in the innovative approaches, contributing to the maintenance of key skills in decommissioning and environmental remediation and to the development of young engineers in this growing field. A Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) will be is set up to define main decommissioning research actions needing a coordinated effort over the next years and in particular those actions for which enhanced cooperation within the shareholder community are desirable and achievable. These actions will result from a gap analysis where the expected situation answering to the needs and perspectives of different stakeholders will be compared to the present situation with existing and emerging innovative techniques and solutions, international best practices and advanced technologies. Three levels of stakeholders will be considered: the consortium, the expert review panel and the wider community of persons and organizations having an interest in decommissioning.     HYDRAITE project aims to solve the issue of hydrogen quality for transportation applications with the effort of partners from leading European research institutes and independent European automotive stack manufacturer, together with close contact and cooperation with the European FCH industry. In this project, the effects of contaminants, originating from the hydrogen supply chain, on the fuel cell systems in automotive applications are studied. As an outcome, recommendations for the current ISO 14687 standards will be formulated based on the technical data of the impurity concentrations at the HRS, FC contaminant studies under relevant automotive operation conditions, and inter-compared gas analysis. The methodology for determining the effect of contaminants in automotive PEMFC system operation will be developed by six leading European research institutes in co-operation with JRC and international partners. In addition, a methodology for in-line monitoring of hydrogen quality at the HRS, as well as sampling strategy and methodology for new impurities, gas, particles and liquids, will be evolved. Three European laboratories will be established, capable of measuring all of the contaminants according to ISO 14687 standards, and provide a strong evidence on the quality and reliability on their result. Beyond the project, the three laboratories will offer their services to the European FCH community. In addition, a network of expert laboratories will be set, able to provide qualitative analysis and the first analytical evidence on the presence or absence of these new compounds with potential negative effect to the FCEV. The efficient dissemination and communication improves the resulting data and input for the recommendations for ISO standards of hydrogen fuel. The project and its results will be public, to boost the impact of the project outcomes and to enhance the competitiveness of the European FC industry.

    INN-PRESSME aims at developing and implementing a sustainable OITB to support European companies to scale up their nano-enabled biomaterials and processes from TRL 4-5 to 7. We will focus on (nano)cellulose, bioplastics and natural fibres, combined with nanotechnology approaches to tailor biobased materials with properties and functionalities (barrier, antibacterial properties, improved corrosion or chemical resistance, etc.) that equal or outperform their fossil counterparts at competitive prices. INNPRESSME gathers 16 pilot lines, organized in routes and processes for feedstock conversion (PLA, PHA, fibre-based, cellulose-based), formulation and transformation and processing of bio-based material to high added value products. INN-PRESSME is a joint collaborative net of 27 partners from 10 EU countries from North (Fi, Nor, Swe, UK, Be), South (Sp, It, Fr) and central Europe (Ge, Po). All technical and market oriented services are provided by specific partners, include equipment and methods for processing, fast and accurate/reliable characterization, scaling up, nanosafety, eco-design and circular economy assessment (recyclability and biodegradability), product certification, digitization of the OITB, sustainable OITB´ business plan, technology transfer, support for funding, networking activities. The value proposition will be validated for 3 targeted mass markets (packaging, energy/transport, and consumer goods sectors) with 9 test cases co-developed with Early Adopters (7 IND, 1 SME) and with additional test cases through open calls. All this will secure the smooth transition of the new material concepts to the market, for a cumulated turnover of about 56M€ by 2029. Additionally, for maximizing the impacts on SMEs, the OITB will rely on a strong network of European clusters and initiatives and on an efficient promotional campaigns including towards the ECCP members or regional initiatives funded by ERDF. These services will be available through single entry point.
