The project was based mainly on developing an innovative approach for addressing the target groups, providing more atractive educational programmes, in accordance with the individuals needs and expectations. The EU Modernisation Agenda envisaged, among others, raising the number of graduates at university level, improving the quality and relevance of higher education, strengthening the knowledge triangle. The European Commission’s Rethinking Education initiative has identified that the ‘digital revolution brings important opportunities for education’ and the need ‘to scale-up use of ICT in learning and teaching’. EC Communication on Open Education 2013 promotes the new teaching and learning methods, especially the integration of a large variety of studying models (distance, part-time, modular) through new personalized learning forms, virtual and blended mobility, blended and virtual learning platforms. In this context, the project was based on an integrated approach, which means 3 components: education, research and business. In this respect, the project has developed a master program - Social Media Manager - based on a employers needs assessment analysis and building a IT virtual learning platform, which supported the master program. In this respect, the platform contributed to on-line development of educational resources, which became more flexible and easy to be updated by the universities, ensuring support for educational practices in blended system. The development of the curricula for the master programme was based on a research of the on-line area, that reflected the trends, perspectives and adequate tools that have been used. The project objectives were:- diversification of the high education offers- development of a master programme - Social Media Manager, based on a collaborative, comprehensive and accessible IT platform- enhancing the links between education and labour market- exchange of experiences and best practices between the project partners- raising the use of ITC tools in learning and teaching processes- dissemination of the Master programme - Social Media Manager, best practices and extension the cooperation through the project partners networks, that generated the extension of the application area of the master programme. The consortium consisted of 2 Romanian Universities (Danubius University and Tibiscus University), 1 university from Spain – UNIVERSIDAD DE LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA, 1 university from Italy - Second University of Naples and 1 NGO from Romania - LEGALITC – which had competencies in law and informational society. The project implementation methodology was based on project management principles, including the efficient financial management component. The project implementation was based on a circular model of quality insurance. The project activities plan was divided in 3 phases, which contained tasks contributing to the project objectives achievement:Phase I Preparation: A1 Project Management; Phase II Implementation, monitoring: A2 Elaboration of the master programme curricula - Social Media Manager, A3 Development of the IT platform, A4 Elaboration of the accreditation procedures for the master programme – Social Media Manager and A5 Dissemination (organization of 6 dissemination events); Phase 3: Follow-up: Elaboration and implementation of a sustainable follow-up plan for ensuring the project results transferability to other universities/organizations/institutions.At the dissemination events that have been organised in Romania, Spain and Italy more than 100 people (employers, students, etc) participated. Impact on the partners organisations: during the project implementation the project partners discovered new teaching and learning methods through the IT and the LEGALITC that have been developed and manage the IT platform and maintaining the relationships with employers, have improved its capacity of managing and coordination a university network and a IT tool for teaching at university level. Through the development of the Master programme at the partners level, educational offers of universities have been developed, with a strong innovation component. After the project implementation, the partners have improved the curricula and contributed to the raising of the students employability, through ensuring the links between universities and employers representatives.
PLOTO aims at increasing the resilience of the Inland WaterWays (IWW) infrastructures and the connected land- infrastructures, thus ensuring reliable network availability under unfavourable conditions, such as extreme weather, accidents and other kind of hazards. Our main target is to combine downscaled climate change scenarios (applied to IWW infrastructures) with simulation tools and actual data, so as to provide the relevant authorities and their operators with an integrated tool able to support more effective management of their infrastructures at strategic and operational levels. Towards this direction, PLOTO aims to: - use high resolution modelling data for the determination and the assessment of the climatic risk of the selected transport infrastructures and associated expected damages; - use existing data from various sources with new types of sensor-generated data (computer vision) to feed the used simulator; - utilize tailored weather forecasts (combining seamlessly all available data sources) for specific hot-spots, providing early warnings with corresponding impact assessment in real time; - develop improved multi-temporal, multi-sensor UAV- and satellite-based observations with robust spectral analysis, computer vision and machine learning-based assessment for diverse transport infrastructures; - design and implement an integrated Resilience Assessment Platform environment as an innovative planning tool that will permit a quantitative resilience assessment through an end-to-end simulation environment, running “what-if” impact/risk/resilience assessment scenarios. The effects of adaptation measures can be investigated by changing the hazard, exposure and vulnerability input parameters; - design and implement a Common Operational Picture, including an enhanced visualisation interface and an Incident Management System. The PLOTO integrated platform and its tools will be validated in three case studies in Belgium, Romania and Hungary.
"The project ""LOVE Life and Dance: Expressive therapy for empowering youth"" it is a strategic partnership project developed through the collaboration of 4 organizations from 3 european countries: AICSCC from Romania, Danubius University from Romania, CEIPES from Italy and ASPAYM Castilla y Leon from Spain. The project began with the awareness of the need of specialists to have a standardized instrument in the field of art-therapy for youth. The main aim is to develop two intellectual outputs - specifically, an intervention kit for dance-therapy and other expressive technics and a web platform with resources for specialists, youth workers interested in using art-therapy in their curative interventions. The principle objectives are the elaboration of these 2 intellectual outputs and the development of a powerful strategic partnership between the 4 organization, which can function on a log term, aiming to elaborate for the future, different instruments from the field of youth and psychology. The phases of the project will respect approximately the phases and standard of a scientific research, having a documentation phase, in which all the partners will contribute for the needs analysis and the development in each country of the dance schools and institutions using art-therapy. After the documentation phase, will begin an elaboration phase, in which will be organized a transnational meeting for straightening the partnership and for establishing the strategy for the future activities. After the elaboration phase, will start a testing phase, in which 240 young people from the 4 countries will benefit from the intervention kit, participating on 8 workshops of dance-therapy for 2 month. After the testing and improvement of the intervention, the kit will be launched officially and will begin the dissemination events. Will be organised 3 dance festival, one in each country in a public space, for popularize the impact of the expressive methods in the therapeutic process. The project will have a huge impact on the youth workers and psychology specialists, having the possibility to use standardized instruments of art-therapy in their work with young people. The project will end with press conferences and after the completion of all activities, the partners will use the intervention kit and will update continually the web platform."
