BRAVIOO is oriented towards the implementation or modernization of University Ombudsperson (UO) in the Latin American entities participating in the consortium. It is led by the UO of the Carlos III University of Madrid (Spain), together with the UO for Students of the Universidade da Beira Interior (Portugal) and the consulting firm ODS (Spain). The consortium also includes eight universities from Argentina (National University of Córdoba and the National University of the Northeast), Chile (Adolfo Ibáñez University and Universidad de la Frontera), Honduras (National Autonomous University of Honduras and Francisco Morazán National Pedagogical University) and Bolivia (Universidad del Valle and Private Technological University of Santa Cruz). The benefits of the project are directed to the university communities participating in the consortium, to extend them to their respective regional areas and propose the strengthening of the Networks of University Ombudsperson. The tasks of the project are oriented towards the achievement of training tools for the participating Latin American entities, through MOOC courses, which can be easily reviewed and updated, as well as the implementation of norms and regulations, which facilitate the implementation and extend the European culture of Ombudsperson University to the participating Latin American institutions and promote its subsequent extension to their own countries. It is a determined and firm commitment to improve the real implementation and with tools of Human Rights in the field of Universities, within the objectives of improving the governance of university institutions, with beneficial effects in the societies in which said institutions university are framed. The expected results are the implementation or modernization of University Ombudsmen in the Latin American entities of the consortium, using European references as a base, in order to strengthen and improve the ties that unite Europe and Latin America.
