The integrated circuit (IC) packaging and testing industry is an important link in the semiconductor industrial chain that may decide the success or failure of the foundry industry. The purpose of this study was to compare the competitiveness of the packaging and testing industry in the rear section of the foundry process in Taiwan. Starting from the financial data of six listed companies and using Grey theory, this study summarizes their five factors of competition: scale, growth, profit, efficiency and risks. The study confirmed that the model is able to effectively compare the competitiveness of corporations in the same industry.

This paper explored the empirical research investigating the relationship between Accounting Information Systems (AIS) alignment and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) performance. Literature shows that AIS alignment is influenced by organizational characteristics, individual characteristics and situational factors which affect SMEs performance. The associate between AIS alignment and firm performance is also discussed in this paper. This paper explores the motivation and contribution of previous researches to identify the gaps for the future studies.

The questions of what competence constitutes in salesperson performance and why it does matter are important issue of marketing and sales management. This study examined the importance of competence in a salesperson's performance and the mechanism underlying the relationship between competence and performance. We used multiple sources to collect data from 165 sales agents working in a life insurance company and 338 customers at two time points. The results demonstrated that the mediation of the effect of social and professional competence on objective salesperson performance differed depending on affective trust and cognitive trust.

There has been debate amongst researchers and policy makers regarding how strong the correlation between population growth and economic growth is. At a time when several countries are encouraging policies to promote population growth, other countries are pursuing population stabilisation. For example, while countries such as Denmark, France, Japan and Singapore offer incentives aimed at encouraging births, policy makers aim for a reduction of population growth by curbing fertility rate in Burundi, Kenya, Niger and Rwanda, for example, via family planning programmes, to increase economic growth. The precise relationship between population and economic growth therefore requires further analysis.

Sustainable Marketing strategies are unavoidable for 21st century businesses. Companies have started investing huge amount on these activities. Consumers do expect companies to adopt sustainable strategies but realizing one's need is the only drive for any consumer. Thus, there is gap between business sustainability practices and consumers' expectations. To address this gap, the paper proposes a conceptual framework for sustainability strategies that businesses must adopt. The proposed framework can be an important standpoint for businesses to meet consumers' expectations without compromising business value. The integrated circuit (IC) packaging and testing industry is an important link in the semiconductor industrial chain that may decide the success or failure of the foundry industry. The purpose of this study was to compare the competitiveness of the packaging and testing industry in the rear section of the foundry process in Taiwan. Starting from the financial data of six listed companies and using Grey theory, this study summarizes their five factors of competition: scale, growth, profit, efficiency and risks. The study confirmed that the model is able to effectively compare the competitiveness of corporations in the same industry.

This paper explored the empirical research investigating the relationship between Accounting Information Systems (AIS) alignment and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) performance. Literature shows that AIS alignment is influenced by organizational characteristics, individual characteristics and situational factors which affect SMEs performance. The associate between AIS alignment and firm performance is also discussed in this paper. This paper explores the motivation and contribution of previous researches to identify the gaps for the future studies.

The questions of what competence constitutes in salesperson performance and why it does matter are important issue of marketing and sales management. This study examined the importance of competence in a salesperson's performance and the mechanism underlying the relationship between competence and performance. We used multiple sources to collect data from 165 sales agents working in a life insurance company and 338 customers at two time points. The results demonstrated that the mediation of the effect of social and professional competence on objective salesperson performance differed depending on affective trust and cognitive trust.
