El Patriarca sobre la solicitud de viático presentada por fray Ambrosio Oconor, de la orden de Santo Domingo, para que ocho religiosos de su orden puedan pasar a la Misión de Irlanda.

Abstract

Consulta del Patriarca de las Indias a Carlos II en relación con el memorial presentado por fray Ambrosio Oconor solicitando viático para que ocho miembros ( fray Patricio Walesio, fray Diego Cullan, fray Juan Moran, fray Guillermo Kelley, fray Thomas Tulley, fray Domingo Halleran, fray Ricardo Eano, fray Domingo Oruri) de su orden puedan pasar a la Misión de Irlanda. El Patriarca opina que hay gran necesidad de misioneros en estos reinos del norte, por haber muerto la mayor parte de religiosos y clérigos que había en ellos, por lo que es partidario de que se les conceda la ayuda solicitada. Respuesta favorable del rey al margen.
