Abstract

Consulta del Patriarca de las Indias a Carlos II sobre la solicitud de viático presentada por los licenciados don Diego Fagan, don Lucas Fagan y don Juan Quiernano, irlandeses. Los tres vinieron a España a estudiar Teología y lo hicieron en los Colegios de Irlanda de San José de Alcalá de Henares y San Patricio de Sevilla. Ahora desean pasar a su tierra a predicar el Evangelio y solicitan el viático acostumbrado para poder hacerlo. El Patriarca es favorable a que se concedan cien ducados a cada uno por la Presidencia de Hacienda para ayuda del viaje. Respuesta favorable del rey al margen.
