Consulta sobre la solicitud de don Daniel MacKeye, que pide una ayuda de costa para consagrarse en la dignidad de obispo

Abstract

Consulta del Consejo de Estado a la regente doña Mariana de Austria sobre el memorial remitido por el doctor don Daniel MacKeye, en el que refiere haber servido los últimos doce años de capellán y confesor de la guarda alemana, y que ahora le ha nombrado S.S. obispo para ir a Irlanda a predicar la santa fe. Dado que no se le han pagado sus gajes con puntualidad y hallarse con necesidad, suplica ayuda de costa para el efecto de la consagración. El Consejo propone remitir la pretensión del suplicante al Patriarca de las Indias para que se le de por su mano la limosna que S.M. estimara conveniente. Respuesta de la regente: "Está bien y así lo he mandado".
