Abstract

Memorial del doctor don Pedro Markey y de don Terencio Duffy, presbíteros irlandeses y misioneros apostólicos, que han acabado sus estudios y desean pasar a la Misión de Irlanda, para lo que suplican el viático acostumbrado. Otro memorial de los mismos en que reclaman que hace más de cuatro meses que presentaron el anterior memorial para solicitar viático y no han tenido hasta ahora ninguna repuesta. Certificación (en latín) de rector del Colegio de Santo Tomás Aquini de Sevilla a favor de don Terencio Duffy. Certificación (en latín) del rector del Colegio Inglés de Sevilla, de la Compañía de Jesús, a favor de Pedro Ricardo Markey. El marqués de la Ensenada envía, por orden real, el memorial al R.P. Jaime Antonio Fevre, que refiere que es mucho anterior la fecha de certificación presentada a favor de don Terencio Duffy, en concreto de 7 de mayo de 1739, por lo que antes de tomar ninguna resolución le parece oportuno se informe de ello. En un nuevo informe de 11 de junio ya se muestra favorable a la concesión de los viáticos a ambos solicitantes. Respuesta final. "Como dice el Padre Confesor"
