Solicitud de viático para don Juan Keran y fray Nicola Lowkot, para ir a la Misión de Irlanda

Abstract

Memorial de don Juan Keran, presbítero irlandés, residente en Bilbao, que, hallándose apto para ir a las Misiones de Irlanda, como consta por las certificaciones adjuntas, suplica se le dé el viático que está concedido para fin tan piadoso. Consulta del Arzobispo Inquisidor General al conde de Valparaíso sobre Juan Kiarin, de nación irlandesa, y fray Nicola Lowkot, agustino irlandés, solicitando ambos el viático para su viaje a Irlanda. También lo ha solicitadon don Gerardo O Terrall (ver registro anterior), colegial del de San Jorge de los Irlandeses de Alcalá de Henares, quien, aunque le fue concedido el viático en 1756, no llegó a cobrarlo porque estando para emprender viaje, fue elegido rector del Colegio de San Patricio de Madrid cuando el anterior rector, don Arturo Magnesi, fue elegido para el de San Ildefonso. Certificación de don Gaspar Diguja, rector, y don Bernardo Cifuentes, profesor de Teología del Colegio de Bilbao de la Compañía de Jesús. Certificación de fray Luis de Aguilar, rector, además de los regentes y colegiales del Colegio Irlandés de Santo Tomás de Aquino de Sevilla a favor de don Juan Kearin.
