Abstract

Consulta del Consejo de Estado a Felipe IV sobre los licenciados don Carlos Giago y don Thadeo Hurleo, sacerdotes irlandeses, que han acabado sus estudios, y solicitan viático para ir a la Misión de aquel reino. Remitidos al Patriarca, éste informó de forma favorable sobre sus capacidades y suficiencia. El Consejo propone a S.M. se libren 100 ducados a cada uno con calidad de que den fianza de que en el término de un año haya cumplido con esta obligación. Respuesta del rey: "Así lo he mandado".
