Abstract

Memorial de fray Dionisio Odaly, de la orden de Predicadores, Procurador General de la Provincia de Irlanda, en el que, de acuerdo con la resolución regia de situar 50 ducados a cada religioso irlandés que hubiere estudiado en sus dominios para que vaya a su patria a la Misión, suplica esta ayuda para varios religiosos de la orden que han terminado sus estudios: fray Ambrosio Oconnor, fray Miguel Shanly, fray Thomas Hugo, fray Carlos French, fray Antonio Dun, fray Ricardo Wall, fray Juan Moloy, fray Esteban Mac Cormick, fray Antonio Carrol, fray Gualtero Duff, fray Bernabé Barnavall, fray Thomas Comerfort, fray Patricio Farrel, fray Hugo Morrilli, fray Thomas Philips y fray Thomas Ryan. Incluye tres certificaciones de fray Dionisio Odaly sobre la capacidad y habilidad de los religiosos mencionados para poder pasar a la Misión de Irlanda. José Patiño remite el memorial al Padre Confesor. Informe de Guillermo Clarke a favor de la solicitud de don Dionisio Odaly, proponiendo dar a cada religioso 50 ducados, y que mande S.M. al dicho Procurador que conforme vayan embarcando envíe el documento que lo justifique. Felipe V está de acuerdo con lo propuesto por el Padre confesor.
