Petición del Arzobispo Tuamense de que se le sitúe su pensión en rentas eclesiásticas

Abstract

Consulta del Consejo de Estado a Felipe IV sobre el memorial remitido por el Arzobispo Tuamense en que refiere haberle sido hecha merced de 1.000 ducados al año en las arcas de tres llaves para su sustento por tenerle usurpadas las rentas de su arzobispado los herejes, pero que de este dinero no se le ha pagado nada porque en las arcas no hay dinero. Suplica se le sitúen estos 1.000 ducados en rentas eclesiásticas de estos reinos, en especial en las de 1632, o en otra parte efectiva. Al Consejo parece obra pía situárselo en pensiones eclesiásticas. Respuesta del rey: "He mandado que se le procure pagar".
