Sobre las precariedades de los Cartujos ingleses de Malinas

Abstract

Borrador de Felipe IV a la infanta doña Isabel Clara Eugenia representando que los Padres Cartujos ingleses de Malinas le han hecho relación de que desde que se retiraron a aquellos estados por orden de Felipe II y Felipe III han sido sustentados con una limosna de 100 escudos de oro al mes, lo cual Felipe IV aumentó en otros 25 escudos al mes desde 1621. Aparte se les adeudan varias mensualidades, por lo que los Padres le han representado que se les consigne la limosna de 125 escudos en el castillo de Amberes. Felipe IV pide a la infanta se les pague según las órdenes anteriores que están dadas.
