Abstract

Gerónimo de la Torre a Pedro de Monzón sobre el barón don Gualtero Aston, hijo de don Gualtero Aston, que fue embajador en Madrid por los reyes de la Gran Bretaña, que ha representado que el hombre de negocios sobre quien ha traído letras de cambio no quiere aceptarlas si la cantidad que la Real Hacienda debe a don Pedro Ricaut no se paga, como el rey tiene mandado. Felipe IV ha resuelto que se pague al suplicante lo que pareciere deberle Ricaut, atento a la calidad de este caballero y los méritos de su padre. (Por orden de 25 de enero ha mandado S.M. se de satisfacción a Pedro Ricaut de 23q.128.000 mrs que se le deben del dinero prestado en Inglaterra a embajadores). Informe del marqués de Almonacir, del Consejo de Hacienda, sobre el barón don Gualtero Daston, hijo del embajador inglés en Madrid. (Madrid, 6 de abril de 1652)
