Sobre situar la pensión de fray Guillermo del Espíritu Santo, de la orden de Santo Domingo

Abstract

Consulta del Consejo de Estado a Felipe IV sobre el memorial remitido por fray Guillermo del Espíritu Santo, de la Orden de Santo Domingo, representando sus servicios a la Corona y la gran necesidad en que se halla por llevar dos años en la corte esperando que se le sitúe finalmente la pensión de 200 ducados que se le concedió. Suplica al rey se sirva de dar orden particular al Consejo de Italia para que le sitúe los 200 ducados de pensión eclesiástica en el obispado de Cherra en Nápoles, que está vaco, o en una de las abadías de Italia de Nuestra Señora de Rocamador de San Angel, de Navalur, de san Salvador de la Plaza o en el Priorato de San Andrés de la Plaza, y crecérsela a 300 ducados. Al Consejo parece que por lo que este religioso representa y habérsele dado los 200 ducados de pensión por sus servicios se le podría mandar se le sitúen donde señala. Respuesta del rey: "Así lo he mandado habiendo lugar".
