Abstract

Consulta del Consejo de Estado a Felipe IV sobre el viático solicitado por Malachias Conaldo y el doctor Patricio Trassi, irlandeses, para ir a la Misión de Irlanda, y don Thadeo Obrien, al que el rey manda dar carta para que el obispo de Córdoba le favoreciese sus estudios y le sustentase en la Universidad de Alcalá. El Consejo acuerda remitir sus memoriales al Patriarca para que dé su parecer y si cabe enviar más religiosos a la Misión en este año. El Patriarca responde que este año aún no está cumplido el número de tres religiosos de cada orden y otros tres de cada seminario irlandés, pero que el viático no les toca a los solicitantes, a uno por no ser sacerdote y al otro por no ser seminarista, aunque sí se les podría dar alguna limosna. Sobre Thadeo Obrien, que se haga lo que se hubiere hecho con otros. El Consejo se conforma con este parecer. Respuesta del rey: "Como parece".
