Abstract

Carta descifrada del secretario Pedro de San Juan en la que responde a lo que se le preguntó de la vida y costumbres de don Diego Talbot (Talbolt), sacerdote irlandés. Refiere no conocerle en persona y que por lo que ha averiguado es el eclesiástico que ha llegado con el conde de Gondomar. Indica que hay un sacerdote irlandés que se llama Macmoris, que se intitula abad de Mayo, señor de muchas tierras y no muy capaz, que falsificó la firma de su alteza, y al que por ello se desterró secretamente de Flandes, pudiendo ser éste al que se ha tomado por Diego Talbot.
