Petición para situar la pensión de fray Ricardo de la Peña, de la orden de santo Domingo

Abstract

Consulta del Consejo de Estado a Felipe IV sobre el memorial remitido por fray Ricardo de la Peña, religioso de la orden de Santo Domingo, irlandés, en que refiere haberle sido hecha merced de 100 ducados al año de pensión eclesiástica en consideración de sus servicios, trabajos y prisiones por la causa católica en Irlanda, y suplica que se le sitúen en un obispado de Flandes o en Finanzas de aquellos estados, dado que en España no ha comodidad para situársela. Al Consejo parece justo que se mande se le sitúe con efecto en algún obispado o abadía en Flandes. Respuesta del rey: "Así lo he mandado"
