Abstract

Certificaciones de Oneil, conde de Tiron, baron de Donganon, maestro de campo de la infantería irlandesa, de Joannes Cullenanus, obispo rapotense, y del barón de Gleanomalum y de Cuerchy, par del reino de Irlanda, las tres firmadas en Bruselas. Los tres refieren la llegada de fray Agustín de Santa María al reino de Irlanda para predicar el Santo Evangelio, tras lo cual fue preso de los herejes ingleses y llevado a Londres, donde estuvo encerrado un año. Por mediación del embajador de Venecia quedó libre, pidiéndose ahora para él una merced real por la peripecia sufrida, su vida ejemplar y sus grandes virtudes
