Abstract

El propósito de la base de datos CLAROS es facilitar la tarea de localizar nuevas ediciones y traducciones de inscripciones griegas aparecidas a lo largo del último siglo. Está pensada para servir de ayuda tanto a los especialistas en epigrafía griega como a los historiadores, lingüistas y filólogos en general, menos habituados que aquellos a desenvolverse en la jungla bibliográfica en que se ha convertido esta disciplina. Ha sido desarrollada por investigadores del equipo del Diccionario Griego-Español con el propósito de servir de ayuda en la tarea de revisión del material epigráfico incluido en el diccionario.En su última versión incluye más de 605.000 concordancias bibliográficas procedentes de más de 1.000 colecciones de inscripciones griegas.

CLAROS es una base de datos en línea con información sobre nuevas ediciones y traducciones de inscripciones griegas publicadas a lo largo del último siglo. No pretende ser exhaustiva, ni aspira a recoger todas las ediciones de cada inscripción citada. Es sencillamente una suma de las concordancias que aparecen al final de numerosas colecciones epigráficas. A ello se añade un gran número de concordancias realizadas por los autores directamente para volúmenes que carecían de ella. En su última versión, CLAROS incorpora además cerca de 180.000 enlaces externos a ediciones digitales o recursos en línea en todo tipo de plataformas y repositorios.
