[EN] CT microtomography data from four Albian-Cenomanian marls collected along the western North Pyrenean Zone (Chainons Béarnais and Bigorre and Tardets-Mauléon basins). X-Ray microtomography analysis were conducted using a Zeiss Xradia Versa 510 X-Ray tomograph (DMEX, University of Pau, France). Samples for tomographic analysis were drilled from oriented specimens and had a 2 to 3 mm diameter. For each sample, data from two scans are provided: (i) a low-resolution scan focused on the upper part of the sample and its orientation mark and (ii) a high-resolution scan along 2 to 3 mm of the sample core. Acquisition parameters (voxel size, voltage, target power, exposure time) are indicated in the name of the folders containing the two different scans. The data was reconstructed with XRM Reconstructor (Zeiss, version 14) and different mineral phases were segmented using (ORS) Dragonfly software. From segmented images, and using the protocol in Saur (2022), the preferred orientation of quartz grains, calcite crystals and opaque minerals was defined and compared to magnetic fabrics data.
Contenido: 4 folders that correspond to four different samples (5OP3P, CBP131B, LU29_1B and CBP11_5A). Each folder contains two scans (which are in two different sub-folders). Inside the sub-folders, 500-900 .tiff files per scan can be found.
