
At the first stage of research into Sigismundus Gelenius’ editions and translations the research team of the project Europa Humanistica III. Sigismundus Gelenius (1497–1554): His Editions and Translations of Ancient Classics used various European and Czech databases. These databases enabled the team to collect both contemporary and posthumous editions and translations of ancient Greek and Latin classics by Gelenius, and it turned out that he also made several editions of early modern authors.
