ALKARO – Almanachy, kalendáře, ročenky v českých zemích 1801–1945

Abstract

In the ALKARO database, in the years 2023-2027, selected non-real periodicals (calendars, yearbooks, almanacs) published in the Czech lands between 1801-1945 will be gradually excerpted. This dataset contains bibliographic records excerpted from calendars. The titles to be excerpted are selected in terms of the relevance of their content for the Czech Literary Bibliography. The scope of the excerpts covers texts of Czech fiction (including small genres such as anecdotes, cartoons, riddles, proverbs), primary and secondary texts in German, translations from world literature, literary criticism and related disciplines with a connection to literature (theatre, history, journalism), texts on cultural and social life of the time. All records contain a link to the National Digital Library (or similar repository) to the first page of the digitised excerpted text and are thus linked to the digitised source.
