Zambia land use and land cover field samples

Abstract

General Description This data set consists of 697 land use and land cover (LULC) sample locations and reference labelling collected over Muchinga and Copperbelt provinces, Zambia. The data available in ESRI shapefile format (spatial reference system: WGS 84, EPSG: 4326) was collected in a field campaign realized between May and June 2023. The dataset can be used for training and to evaluate the performance of the classification models.
