These are the diffraction data for Project M, a large-scale citizen science project with over 1,000 scientists from UK secondary schools synthesising calcium carbonate samples. The prepared samples were analysed using X-ray powder diffraction at Diamond Light Source using beamline I11. The diffraction data consist of .xye files, where x axis is 2theta angle, y axis is corrected counts and e is error. A detailed description of what each file is and the associated lattice parameters from the refinements are available in the spreadsheet 'ProjectM_DiffractionData'. The silicon 640c standard diffraction data that was collected before the experiment is also included.
This data was collected as part of Project M, on Beamline I11 at Diamond Light Source on Proposal EE15723-1.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
