The file named "tree_Mel.tre" is the phylogenetic tree in the parenthetic format used for the analyses. It has been pruned from the tree published by Marki et al. (2017) Mol Phyl Evol 107, 516–529. It was saved using the write.nexus function from the "ape" package for R software.
