Dataset of cartographic embankment lines to generalise

Abstract

A dataset of roads and cartographic embankment lines that are too close to each other for a cartographic representation at the 1:25k scale. This dataset is derived from IGN topographic data, and was used to test the ReBanker generalisation algorithm. A set of displaced lines obtained with the ReBanker algorithm is also provided for future comparisons.
