This repository contains the data used in the following paper: Chen, X., L. R. Leung, Y. Gao, and Y. Liu (2021), Response of U.S. west coast mountain snowpack to local sea surface temperature perturbations: Insights from numerical modeling and machine learning, J. Hydrometeor. doi:10.1175/JHM-D-20-0127.1 It includes the hydroclimate data (P, T, SWE) over the western U.S. under two simulations: one historical reconstruction and one local SST perturbed simulation. The dataset covers the daily conditions during 2003-2015 on a 6-km grids that is used by the Weather Research and Forecasting model. There are other variables generated from this study, and for these additional data please contact Dr. Xiaodong Chen or Dr. Ruby Leung. If you would like to use this dataset, please cite the above paper along with the following related study: Chen, X. and L. R. Leung (2020), Response of landfalling atmospheric rivers on the U.S. west coast to local sea surface temperature perturbations, Geophys. Res. Lett., doi:10.1029/2020GL089254

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
