Catalogue of surface ozone episodes over Europe extracted from the CAMS global reanalysis

Abstract

Catalogue of European Surface Ozone Episodes (2003–2022) derived from the CAMS global reanalysis (EAC4). This dataset contains a comprehensive catalogue of 974 regional surface ozone episodes identified across a reduced European domain [10° W–50° E, 34–60° N] during the April–September months of 2003-2022. The identified episodes range in duration from 3 to 30 days. The full description of the file is provided as a README.txt file. The methodology is described by Crespo-Miguel et al. (2024), Science of The Total Environment, 949, 175071. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.scitotenv.2024.175071.
