Abstract: This scientific thesis provides a comprehensive analysis of the possibilities for organizing and developing the agritourism sector to improve the socioeconomic status of rural areas and enhance the well-being of the population in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Based on the unique natural-climatic, demographic, and agricultural potential of the region, specific practical proposals and scientific recommendations have been put forward to provide the rural population with stable and alternative jobs and to diversify family incomes.
