This repository contains the replication materials for the study "Perceived Climate Shocks and International Migration Intentions in Benin." The repository includes data preparation scripts, variable construction procedures, statistical analysis code, and documentation required to reproduce the results reported in the manuscript. The analysis uses Afrobarometer survey data for Benin. Due to Afrobarometer's data-sharing policy, the original survey data can be redistributed through this repository. Researchers can also obtain the data directly from Afrobarometer through their official website www.afrobarometer.org The study examines how perceptions of climate-related shocks influence individuals' intentions to migrate internationally, contributing to the literature on climate change, migration, and adaptation in West Africa.
