Datasets – Prevalence and Validity of Nonordinary Experiences

Abstract

This repository contains the datasets for the six studies reported in “Prevalence and Validity of Nonordinary Experiences.” Data are organized by study, and each study includes a corresponding codebook. File naming conventions: Codebooks: Codebook_[study nickname]_dataframesDatasets: [study nickname]_Analysis_ValidationPaper Study structure: Study 1: Has its own dataset and codebook. Codebook: Codebook_Study1.xlsx Dataset: Study1_validationitems_df.xlsx Studies 2–4: Each study has its own dataset, but they all share a single codebook. Shared codebook: Codebook_Study2_3_4_dataframes.xlsx Dataset study 2: Study_2_Analysis_Validationpaper.csv Dataset study 3: Study_3_Analysis_Validationpaper.csv Dataset study 4: Study_4_Analysis_Validationpaper.csv Study 5: Uses data from Studies 1–4. These datasets are combined during the analysis (i.e., not pre-merged in the repository).Study 6: Uses data from Studies 2–4. These datasets are also combined during the analysis.
