Rayleigh wave tomography data for the São Francisco Craton and adjacent areas

Abstract

This repository contains the data products generated in this study for the São Francisco Craton and adjacent areas. The dataset includes: 1. Rayleigh wave group velocity maps (gp) for periods from 6 to 50 s.These maps were obtained from the joint use of ambient seismic noise and earthquake dispersion measurements. 2. Rayleigh wave phase velocity maps (ph) for periods from 6 to 50 s.These maps were obtained only from ambient seismic noise data. 3. Shear wave velocity (Vs) maps derived from the inversion of Rayleigh wave dispersion data. The Vs models are provided for depths from 2 to 70 km. 4. Moho depth map for the study area. This map represents the crustal thickness estimated from the final Vs model. All files are provided in GRD format. If you use these data, please cite the associated paper.
