Data and Analysis Scripts for paper publication 'Resolution-Dependent Uncertainties in Potential Dust Emissions in Convection-Resolving versus Parameterized Models'

Abstract

This repository contains data from global climate simulations of mineral dust uplift potential (DUP), based on convection-resolving ICON simulations (DYAMOND, ~2.5 km resolution) and coarse-resolution CMIP6 models (~200 km), covering major dust source regions including the North African–Central Asian dust belt, East Asia, and Australia. In addition, the repository provides all scripts required to process the model output, compute DUP from threshold-exceeding near-surface winds, and generate the figures shown in the associated publication. The dataset and scripts are associated with the publication: 'Resolution-Dependent Uncertainties in Potential Dust Emissions in Convection-Resolving versus Parameterized Models'
