Taiji Data Challenge II Training Sets

Abstract

To better support the development of data analysis algorithms for the Taiji space-based gravitaional-wave detection mission, a user-friendly "training set" version of Taiji Data Challenge II is now available. Together with the previous "blind set", they establish a reasonable difficulty curve. You are welcome to submit analysis results based on both datasets via our website or email. Please take a moment to read the manual. The training set (TDCII[ID].h5) files, GB parameters (GB_Catalog[description].npy, within ComponentParameters.zip) files (due to the large volumes, these are not included in the .h5 files), and transfer function (one_year_avg_transfer_function_data[description].pkl) files contain all the data and parameters required for the analysis. Scripts.zip contains the scripts that allows re-generation of the data, and can serve as tutorials for your analysis (please see its GitHub page for any updates). Other files correspond to the intermediate data generated during simulation and can be downloaded as needed. Before using these scripts, you need to install the following dependencies in order: 1. Triangle-Simulator 2. Triangle-BBH (the BBHx package whtin this repository is also required) Tip: run this command to download in terminal ("uv" is required): uv tool run zenodo_get 17538642
