Data on Climate Targets This dataset contains detailed, machine-readable data on climate (emissions-reduction) targets for the EU-27 for the years 1997-2026. This dataset was developed by Aksornchan Chaianong and Puru Malhotra, from 2024 to January 2026. Aksornchan Chaianong led the work, with support from Ioannis Milioritsas, Silvia Weko, and Johan Lilliestam. The data is published with CC BY-SA 4.0. DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18482359 The authors would like to thank the German Federal Government, the German State Governments, and the Joint Science Conference (GWK) for their funding and support as part of the NFDI4Energy consortium.
