U.S. federal government educational institution data from 1984-2023 and 1980. Contents are all IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System) data files from the U.S. NCES (National Center for Education Statistics) available on their Data Center website: https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/datacenter/Default.aspx?gotoReportId=7&fromIpeds=true Files are organized by year within the tarball and each dataset is a zip archive. The datasets come in a variety of formats (CSV, SPSS. SAS, STATA) and also have a data dictionary included. The variety of data available from year to year varies according to various changes in IPEDS surveys over the years.
