Original data of a comprehensive survey among statistical members of medical ethics committees in Germany on their personal impression of completeness and correctness of biostatistical aspects of submitted study protocols. To enable reproduction of the results presented in the corresponding paper, the final dataset is freely available here, without any information on the medical ethics committee’s federal state to avoid any risk of potential re-identification.
