Unofficial Windows installer for Geant4 10.04.03 (see also the official one https://geant4.web.cern.ch/download/10.4.3.html#binary). It is self-consistent, i.e. it does not require to install any external dependencies (like Qt, xerses-c, OpenGL, ...). For the latest versions of Windows, the "Visual C++ / Visual Studio Build Tools for Visual Studio 2015/2017" is required to get the required DLL 'msvcp140d.dll', missing otherwise. Here is link to download the installer: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lhXI0VP4xAJz_IzJDcLfNkUzyfPntJHH/view?usp=sharing Visual Studio 2017 Community (with msvc C++ compiler) is required if you want to develop code using the installed libraries, but is not required to launch the Example B1. You can use the above installer to install it. Everything is compiled in Debug mode. This installer includes: the Geant4 datasets (located at {install_dir}\install\share\Geant4-10.4.3\data\), and also sets-up the environment variables (G4ABLADATA, G4LEDATA, etc...). Geant4 static libraries, compiled in Debug mode xerses-c static libraries, compiled in Debug mode Qt 5.6.3 shared libraries, compiled in Debug and RelWIthDebInfo modes. It also includes windeployqt.exe (located in {install_dir}\Qt5\install\bin) to deploy executable files to other Windows desktops. CMake 3.14 Once installed, it creates (if checked) a link on desktop to execute the Example B1, that can be launched to test if everything works fine. If it crashes, try to restart the computer and execute again. or make sure you installed the "Visual C++ / Visual Studio Build Tools for Visual Studio 2015/2017" (see link above). * Use `launch_visual_studio.bat` to launch Visual Studio IDE with the correct environment. * Use `launch_CMake_Geant4.bat` to launch CMake-gui with the correct environment. It will take about 4.6 GB on the disk. It is recommended not to install it inside "C:\Program Files (x86)\" . It is recommended to install inside "C:\Dev\" (create the folder if not present) and to keep the default folder name ("Geant4_10_4").
