Abstract

El Primer Simposio Internacional de Nanoquímica Aplicada, llevado a cabo el 3 de mayo de 2023 de forma virtual, fue un evento pionero en Colombia en el campo de la Nanociencia. El simposio contó con dos ponencias magistrales presentadas por reconocidos investigadores con una vasta trayectoria en el tema, así como 17 ponencias orales y un panel de análisis, debate y discusión sobre el tema central del simposio: "Nanociencia y nanotecnología como respuesta a los retos energéticos y ambientales actuales". Dicho panel contó con la participación de conferencistas nacionales e internacionales especializados en el área. El evento contó con la participación de estudiantes de semilleros de investigación de diversas universidades, miembros de la sociedad civil, docentes y profesionales de distintas áreas del conocimiento, especialmente de la ingeniería, las ciencias básicas y la química. La gestión de este evento estuvo a cargo de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, la Sociedad de Doctores e Investigadores de Colombia (SoPhIC) y la Escuela de Aviación del Ejército de Colombia.
