Epidemiological factors of urolithiasis (IBC) refer to gender, age, weight, body mass index (BMI), blood type, profession and other characteristics of the patient. The research has been performed on the basis of the central hospitals of regions which are entered into Northern and North-West geographical zones of the Azerbaijan Republic and on the basis of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after academician M.A.Mirgasimov, Urology Department, Azerbaijan Medical University. Subjects of the clinical observations were patients examined and cured from urolithiasis by 2007-2011. Generally 2305 patients have been observed: 1505 male patients (65.29±0.99%) and 800 (34.71±0.99%) female patients. χ 2 =2305 and p 0.05. In conclusion, we can say that the statistical pattern of occurrence of IBC depending on gender, age, BMI, Rh factor and the professional activity of the patient was confirmed. It indicates that between epidemiological risk factors and the formation of IBC has a connection.
