Abstract

ln this chapter, we describe our work carried out in Deaf Adder Gorge during August 1981. This consisted of a major excavation at a sandstone rockshelter, the Lindner Site, Nauwalabila l, a surface collection of stone artefacts, faunal and plant material lrom a rockshelter, Djuwarr l, and a small excavation of a stream-edge open site, Nauwalabila ll.
